We are conducting an investigation of the relationship between infrared Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) emission and radio emission of atomic hydrogen (HI) to explore the interaction between star formation and the ISM. There is a strong morphological correlation between these two bands, so we are conducting a quantitative investigation of this correlation. We found that this correlation has a radial dependence, indicating that heating in star formation regions strongly influences the PAH emission. This radial dependence explains the lack of a local, point-to-point correlation from our preliminary study.
