This presentation is an analysis of the intersection of gender and religion in Neo-Paganism.
Neo-Paganism, an umbrella term for nature-based religions such as Wicca, functions as a social laboratory for the co-mingling of spirituality and gender.
Although Neo-Paganism empowers women through fostering spiritual expression, encouraging personal development, and espousing a woman-based theology, it remains an essentially gendered religion.
